Football Friday/Friday Favorites

Happy Friday my B&B darlings!

It’s Football Friday and time for Friday Favorites! Exciting, right? Before I talk about my favorites- I want to touch on a personal note. 

Today’s the day- the official season opener for the high school season. I must admit- my stomach is in knots. I feel like I’m going to throw up and pass out at the same time, and I’m just the coach’s kid. I cannot fathom how the players and coaches themselves must feel. Friday night nerves are expected, but this season is a little different. As I’ve previously mentioned, last year’s team didn’t do so hot. There’s a lot riding on this year, and things have to go well. Failure is not an option. This is where the support of the “Football Fam" is so greatly appreciated. Tonight is an away game, (like, super away. 3 hours to be exact,) so we made the (very,) last minute decision to stay home. We actually aren’t going to be in attendance, but you bet your bottom dollar we’re going to be sitting together in someone’s living room listening to the Titans on the radio. A tradition my Dad and I have had since I was a little girl is watching Remember the Titans the night before the season opener, and this year was no different. It’s pretty fitting considering his team’s mascot is actually the Titans. His players legitimately refer to me as Sheryl Yoast (which, I take as a compliment-though I’m not sure it’s always meant that way.) Tonight will be nerve-wracking in every way, especially since we cannot be there- so prayers are greatly appreciated from all of you.

Favorite Drink: Pumpkin Spice Latte. I’m so glad they’re back. 

Favorite Outfit: Navy leggings with a green gingham button down tied up- it’s a great transition outfit from Summer to Fall. 

Favorite Song: Shades of Cool by Lana Del Rey. In my mind, Queen Lana can do no wrong.

Favorite Picture: This Shot that I found on Pinterest. Stunning is an understatement. Kiera Knightly. 

Favorite Store: J.Crew prevails once again. These pixie pants need to get in my closet in every color now. Actually, like, yesterday.
