Happy Thursday, B&B!
Today, I have another food post for all of you (I know, I know…) but I really do think it’s something important to talk about! Personally, I try to be as all-organic as I can. I feel better and look better when I’m eating organic. I’m more energized, my skin glows, and I have a better mental state knowing I’m putting good things in my body. I get a lot of weird looks when I tell people I’m all (mostly) organic. I also take a shot of apple cider vinegar every morning to jump-start my metabolism. Let me first say I don’t deprive myself. If my friends are going out for ice cream, I’ll go get ice cream, but I also see no point in 24/7 consuming foods with chemicals that are toxic and I can’t pronounce. The most common question I get is why??? It’s hard to explain in one blog post why I choose organic, but I highly recommend watching “Fed Up,” a documentary by Katie Couric. It explains the dangers of the food industry in America and really gives you a lot to think about! My favorite “Health Food” brands are Annie’s, Kind, Bear Naked. I’m always munching on some organic cheddar bunnies. The picture above is of a new treat I found called “Snapz” which are literally just crispy dried apples, and I am ADDICTED. They’re delicious. I also only drink milk, water, tea, and coffee, which helps me stay on track with my organic foods. Overall, it’s a very personal choice, but I recommend you try it for a week and see if you can tell a difference. Do any of you eat organic? All Natural?
Forever on the 50,
C
